Short version: Botvent connects people with problems to people who have solved them. We don't handle payments, and we never pretend a curated listing is an endorsement.
Botvent is a marketplace where people describe a problem in plain language and get matched to creators who have built something that solves it. Botvent is a directory and matching service: we help buyers find creators, and we help creators publish and promote their work.
You may browse listings and vent a problem without an account. Posting a vent means you want to be matched with creators who may be able to help, and you accept that your problem description may be read by Botvent's operator and by the creators you are matched with. Creating an account, publishing a build, or claiming a profile is subject to these terms.
Every listing must meet the published marketplace rules, including stating what the buyer actually receives, required software and accounts, recurring costs, setup expectations and known limitations. Botvent may hold, edit or remove any listing that does not meet the standard, and a decision to remove a listing does not require a reason.
Some listings are written up by Botvent from work a creator published publicly elsewhere. These are labelled on the listing page, link back to the original work, and are not endorsements. The creator has not applied and has not agreed to be hired. A curated listing is never a promise that the creator will take on new work.
Botvent does not handle payments. Transactions between a buyer and a creator happen directly between them, through whatever checkout the creator offers, and are governed by that creator's own terms. Botvent is not a party to those transactions and takes no responsibility for them.
A profile claim is reviewed by a person before it is approved. Approving a claim means the claimant confirms they are the creator behind the profile and accepts that the profile will receive enquiries through the marketplace. Providing false identity information when claiming a profile is a breach of these terms.
You may not use Botvent to publish unsafe, deceptive, infringing or credential-harvesting content; to post duplicate or keyword-stuffed listings; to impersonate another person; to collect enquiry data at scale; or to misuse, scrape or overload the service.
Verification on Botvent indicates what Botvent checked about a listing. It is not a guarantee of business results. Buyers are responsible for their own decisions, including any purchase or engagement made through a creator's own checkout.
Botvent is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Botvent is not liable for losses arising from your use of the service, from listings published by third parties, or from transactions conducted outside Botvent.
